Kate Moss, her favourite concealer

19 Aug

Secret Camouflage, by Laura Mercier

This is a hard-working product and although its consistency is a bit thick  at first, if you warm it up on the back of your hand it becomes more workable.

Less is more is the secret.

It’s a  firm favourite with make-up artists  and superstar Kate Moss.   And it’s no wonder because  not only  did it camouflage my dark circles but it also diminished a couple of awkward blemishes which would previously have sent me scurrying under the duvet to wait out their extinction.

Its success is its ability to match exact skin tone with the use of two colours which you blend together before application.

Purchase from: Brown Thomas and Space NK at Harvey Nichols, Dundrum.

Price: under €40

I’ve actually given up on concealer! It always cakes under my eyes. I really don’t think this would work on me but I put a corrector on my eye lids.

I find no matter what corrector I use it turns the skin under my eye into an old dried out tea-bag. Though I’d like to give this one a go. Think it would be better for spots than dark circles if the review of the consistency is anything to go back.

I have that same problem Louise – but I like this one, try putting a little primer underneath or a little eye cream. Though I know when we’re all rushing out in the morning we just want a quick fix! The search continues.
